My transition from Childhood to Womanhood was not the most pleasant- between bleeding and intense menstrual pain due to polycystic ovary syndrome, it was a total ordeal and according to the doctors, my eggs were not of good quality to get pregnant. Without a doubt, God had other plans and I know they are always perfect... and then he surprised me with my first baby at 22 years old.

9 years after giving birth to my first child by cesarean section, I lost my left ovary due to cysts and since then my life has never been the same. However, my son wanted a little brother and with Faith in God we asked for him. And God granted us such a beautiful wish... a baby was born 9 months later.

I remember so well the day my life completely changed.

At 31 y.o, when I woke up from my second C-section, the nurse who was taking care of me said: Welcome to life! We had to perform an emergency partial hysterectomy on you. You lost your Uterus, but you are alive!! You bled too much, we couldn't clean the Endometriosis completely, we had to stitch the wound... you are a miracle! You are very weak - Rest!

I remember feeling so alone, empty, weak, in a lot of physical, mental, moral and emotional pain. Hopeless, victimized, sad, tired and literally broken into pieces. I was a beautiful hormonal disaster (early perimenopause), with 50 lb overweight, intense back pain, high cholesterol, immune and nervous system on the floor so much so that the Herpes Zoster (Shingles) virus woke up brutally in me and it only made my situation worse. And it was then that I clung to the only thing I had left- my BLIND, UNSHAKABLE AND UNBREAKABLE FAITH! I asked God for a miracle, an answer to my prayers... Although it took time, I am immensely grateful for the results.  

 

Recognizing myself as God's favorite child has allowed me to take responsibility for my life, my health, my joy and my glow. Transform my perspective on life, transmute my wounds, do justice to and honor the energy of my Uterus and my ovary, awaken my self-love, love my shadow, forgive myself radically, develop deep self-compassion and gratitude even for the pain. I appreciate everything I have experienced and transcended. Loving, Accepting, Forgiving and Embracing myself as I AM has been the best part of this process.
I recognize that reconciling and making peace with my story, my mind, my soul, my heart and my body is the first step to my happiness, joy and bliss and it is 100% my responsibility!!
